UPDATED December 10, 2016. We are now 95% of the way towards reaching the full $40,000 matching pledge offered by the Jack and Dorothy Byrne Foundation to help us rebuild the foundation of Root Schoolhouse and reopen the building for community use in 2017. Please help us raise the final $2,000 before the end of December so we can qualify for the full amount of the pledge.
Thank you for your interest in supporting Root Schoolhouse. We hope you will please consider making a generous, tax-deductible donation to support our efforts to rebuild the foundation and return the schoolhouse to public use. If you donate now, each dollar you contribute will be matched by the Jack & Dorothy Byrne Foundation, which has offered us a generous matching pledge of up to $40,000 in support of our efforts. Furthermore, the Root District Game Club is pleased to offer rewards and novel ways to recognize donors starting at the fifty dollar level (see below).
